The workshops, sports, and outdoor activities are all designed to maintain the residents’ quality of life. Residents participate in various activities daily to stay active and receive sufficient stimulation.
We believe that everyone has something to contribute. 7 diverse skills development workshops exists where residents are placed based on their interests, abilities, and developmental needs. All workshops are guided by dedicated and skilled instructors and focus on building confidence, independence, and purpose.
Residents develop creative skills through painting and handcrafted products. Each person takes extreme pride in their artwork. Finalised Art pieces are available for sale to the public, whilst some are completed on order.
Skills such as knitting, sewing, crochet, and cross-stitch are taught and practised. Finished items are sold to support the centre.
Focused on those needing more stimulation, this workshop supports development in:
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Social behaviour
- Cognitive and communication abilities
Each program is tailored to the individual’s needs.
